Getting there is half the battle, but an easy win

Being an island nestled in crystal clear Mediterranean waters, you have two forms of transport, ferry or flying. Luckily, both options are outrageously cheap.

Ferries operate from a select few locations, with the most popular being Turkey, with a mind boggling low price of between €35 and €55. However this journey can take in excess of 17 hours, so whilst the journey may be pleasant, you could opt for a more swift approach and book a flight. Durations drop to around 3 hours from most places in Europe, with flights costing less than €40 for a return ticket. Just try not to spend what you save in the duty free!

Renting property in Cyprus brings you closer to places like this

A land of plenty

For a country measuring less than 10,000 square kilometres, it sure manages to cram a lot in!

Stunning beaches claw their way up to the foothills of beautiful mountains, scattered with picturesque rivers and waterfalls. There really is something to tickle the senses for every form of nature lover.

Activities are plentiful, and take advantage of the micro climates spanning the island. This means that depending on the season, you could be scuba diving in the morning, and go snow skiing in the late afternoon. And all before you visit one of the numerous small villages and wine farms that litter the Troodos mountain range whilst gazing up at Mount Olympus.

After Flying, hiking and wandering through history, you’re sure to have worked up an appetite. Well you’ve definitely arrived in the right place to satisfy your hunger.

Cyprus cuisine is a wild aromatic blend of Mediterranean, Turkish and Arab flavours that is best enjoyed when shared with others. Colourful platters and steaming kebabs take centre stage along with halloumi, one of the country's best known food products.

Accompanied by a local wine as the sun sets, there are few better ways to enjoy life.

Well over 300 days of sunshine mean that this large island is great to visit year round, and the super friendly locals will make you feel welcome in absolutely no time. So perhaps it's time to put down that Lonely Planet guide and actually come and see what it's all about.

Once you’ve settled in and decide Cyprus is a place you could set some roots in, call on the expert and familiar real estate agents at QuickLets Cyprus to discuss the abundant property opportunities available to you.
